Action, 360° and stabilized pocket cameras
A compact housing combines the image sensor, lens, stabilization, powerful processor, display, wireless modules and power circuits. Failure in one area can look like a software fault; unstable power, for example, can cause freezing, overheating or interrupted recording.
Both lenses and their relative optical alignment are critical in a 360° camera. Replacing outer glass after an impact may not be enough if focus or image stitching has also shifted.

Car and motorcycle recording systems
A dash cam uses its image system, storage, vehicle power, GPS and often a rear channel, LTE or cloud connection at the same time. Interrupted recording does not always mean the camera itself has failed, so we test the card, adapter, cable, parking kit and rear channel separately.
Date and setting resets are often linked to a battery or supercapacitor. Reboots can result from low supply voltage, overheating, worn storage or a board fault.

Water, overheating and lens damage
An ingress-protection rating only applies to an undamaged housing with sound doors and seals. Impact, sand, deformation or a worn gasket can let water in. Do not charge the device afterwards because current accelerates corrosion.
Condensation, stains and poor focus can be caused by moisture or shifted optics. The optical module should not be wiped internally without need, because dust, fingerprints and incorrect assembly remain visible in footage.
What to bring for diagnostics
Bring the camera with its battery, cable, microSD card and the power adapter used when the problem occurs. For a dash cam, include the rear unit, connecting lead and parking kit. Bring DJI Pocket handles or accessories if the error only appears with them.
Do not format the card or update firmware when lost recordings matter. Do not power a liquid-damaged device, and never force a swollen battery back into the camera.
What to bring and consider before your visit
Bring the camera or dash cam with its battery, usual cable, power adapter and microSD card. For a multi-channel recorder, also bring the rear camera and interconnect cable. Do not power or charge a liquid-damaged device.

Do you repair GoPro, DJI Osmo and Insta360 cameras?
Yes. We accept action, 360° and pocket cameras from these and other brands. Repair feasibility depends on the damage and availability of a compatible part.
Can a camera be repaired after water ingress?
Sometimes, provided corrosion has not destroyed the image sensor, storage or multilayer board. Do not power or charge it; disconnect the battery if safely possible and bring the camera in quickly.
Is water resistance retained after opening?
The original ingress-protection rating cannot be guaranteed after repair. We restore seals where the construction, housing and available materials allow it, but recommend a waterproof housing for use in water.
Can cracked lens cover glass be replaced separately?
Some models allow the outer cover glass to be replaced. Damage to the lens, sensor or optical alignment may require the complete camera module and focus testing.
Why does my dash cam corrupt files or stop recording?
Common causes include a worn or unsuitable microSD card, overheating, unstable power, a damaged slot, failed supercapacitor or internal storage. We test the card and recorder separately.
Do you repair rear cameras and parking mode?
Yes. We test the rear module, cable, ports, power and parking-mode hardwire kit. Installation of vehicle wiring is agreed separately and is not part of normal bench repair.
Can recordings be recovered from the camera?
Accessible footage can sometimes be copied or recovered from a working or partly damaged microSD card or internal storage. Success depends on overwriting, physical condition and file-system format.
How much does action-camera or dash-cam repair cost?
Diagnostics are free and simple work starts from 3,000 RSD. The final price depends on the model, sealed construction, damage and part cost, and is agreed before repair.
